Black -next to White- is one of Montrubí’s iconic wines. A single-varietal red made from Red Grenache, harvested from a 12-year-old vineyard plot. In fact, in just a few days we will harvest the grapes that will create the 2025 vintage. In terms of winemaking, it stands out for being produced through carbonic maceration, a traditional method that lends it a unique personality marked by freshness and aromatic expressiveness.
On the organoleptic side, it is a deep purplish-red wine with prominent notes of red fruit such as strawberries and raspberries, as well as delicate violet floral hints. A fresh, luscious wine with a vibrant finish.
This wine has earned several quality awards: for example, it has received 93 points from Decanter, 9.52 from the Guia de Vins de Catalunya, and a gold medal at the Premis Vinari.
