Olive season in Montrubí: this year’s oil will be ready soon

In Montrubí, we have already finished the olive harvest that will be used to produce this year’s oil. Although we started harvesting slightly later than last year, we carefully went through the olive trees one by one over three intense days and, by hand, collected around a thousand kilograms of the Arbequina variety. Known for its mild and fruity character, we expect a very good development towards what we foresee as an excellent oil vintage.

The olive trees are spread throughout the Estate, surrounding the vineyards and bringing life to the traditional Mediterranean landscape. Located at the altitude that defines us, between 500 and 550 meters, these olives enjoy a cool climate that contributes to the quality and expressiveness of our cherished oil.

Working with the olive trees and producing Montrubí oil is done with the same respect and care as we apply to the vineyards and our wines. Every year, their harvest represents a special moment that we know will lead to bottling a unique, exclusive, and limited product.
